We advance research equity in the belief that information should made available at all times to prevent a disease or poverty, and that every community should have the tools it needs to thrive.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of the UL-PIRE AFRICA is to initiate, advance, and evaluate activities, studies, and programs that improve and enhance social science and public health, and human safety. We initiate and enhance an environment that exemplifies critical thinkers, dedicated, innovative and committed researchers whose work involve novelty of their respective careers.
What We Do
UL-PIRE AFRICA was founded in 2005 through a research initiative between the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation and the University of Liberia to conduct health related studies in Liberia. The UL-PIRE AFRICA is headed by Center Director and Principal Investigator (PI) who provides scientific and technical direction to the institution. UL-PIRE AFRICA was formerly called UL-PIRE Africa Center
